What is Gochar (transit)?
Gochar is the current position of the planets, read against the houses of your birth chart rather than in isolation. The same transit lands differently for two people because it activates whichever house it falls in for each individual chart — which is why a generic 'Saturn is in Pisces' forecast means very little without a birth chart to place it against.
Which chart does the transit use as its anchor?
This page anchors transits on your ascendant (Lagna) chart, the most commonly used base. Some traditions read transits from the Moon sign instead — that comparison, and the deeper interpretation of what a given transit means for you, is what a live reading covers.
