Acts of Charity to Balance Planetary Energies
Acts of Charity to Balance Planetary Energies
Because the Vedic tradition sees all existence as interconnected, specific acts of charity are believed to reduce karmas associated with particular planets.
Even if one views these ideas symbolically, giving a portion of one's income to worthwhile causes remains beneficial. A living enlightened Vedic Saint encourages everyone to donate a small percentage of their income, explaining that doing so may reduce the likelihood of disputes, legal difficulties, and related challenges.
Some remedies are surprisingly simple. For example, feeding crows on a Saturday is traditionally believed to alleviate certain karmic burdens connected with Saturn.
Since different planets are linked to specific days of the week, charitable acts are often performed on the day associated with the relevant planet.
Although some may regard these practices as superstitious, they have endured across generations. Modern scientific interest in interconnected systems provides additional support for concepts long recognised by the ancient Vedic sages.
